Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for plants, pots, tools, and gardening products
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing suppliers
- Track vendor performance and ensure timely deliveries
- Research and identify new vendors and products online
- Visit vendor warehouses across India to check product quality
- Assist in procurement planning based on demand forecasting and inventory levels
- Coordinate with supply chain, warehouse, and quality teams
- Manage purchase orders and inventory updates using Zoho Inventory and Shopify
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Track procurement KPIs and assist in preparing reports and dashboards
- Support implementation of efficient procurement workflows
- Explore sustainable and eco-friendly sourcing options
