Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end procurement strategy and execution for utility-scale and C&I solar projects.
  • Source and procure key solar PV and electrical BOS equipment including modules, inverters, transformers, cables, trackers, and switchgear.
  • Manage EPCs, OEMs, and subcontractors through evaluations, negotiations, and contract finalisation.
  • Translate engineering deliverables (SLD, GA, BOQ) into effective procurement packages.
  • Conduct detailed techno-commercial bid evaluations and recommend best-value suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, warranties, performance guarantees, and liquidated damages.
  • Track supplier performance while managing risks related to logistics, lead times, and market volatility.
  • Drive cost optimisation, localisation initiatives, and value engineering across projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Lead should have:

  • Experience: 8-12 years in procurement or supply chain roles within solar EPCs, renewable energy developers, or power infrastructure companies.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
  • Strong hands-on experience in procuring solar PV systems and electrical BOS equipment for large-scale projects.
  • Deep understanding of solar PV systems, EPC contracting models, and renewable energy supply chains.
  • Proven capability in contract negotiation, cost control, supplier evaluation, and risk management.
  • Strong analytical ability, stakeholder management, and cross-functional communication skills.
