Job Overview

As a Senior Procurement Lead at Jio, you will be responsible for leading strategic procurement activities focused on large EPC projects and data center operations. This full-time position is based in Mumbai and requires deep domain expertise to ensure procurement excellence and alignment with project goals in a high-performance environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise as a procurement lead, specifically in large scale EPC project procurement processes and data center setups (Mandatory skill).
• Extensive experience with procurement procedures, contract management, and vendor negotiations for technology infrastructure (Mandatory skill).
• Strong understanding of electrical components and design requirements essential for large-scale digital infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated ability to establish project discipline, maintain high project quality, and ensure compliance with stringent timelines.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies and best practices tailored to media and telecommunications environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Exceptional analytical skills to assess supplier performance and ensure alignment with technical specifications and project goals.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills to drive procurement success across multiple disciplines.
• Ability to manage procurement risk, address supply chain challenges, and optimize resources to ensure project deliverables are met.
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure procurement is considered a strong advantage.
• Ability to adapt quickly to evolving project needs and drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes.

Role and Responsibility:

1.Responsible for Development of Procurement strategy, outlining technical requirement, guidelines and criteria for vendor selection for respective Disciplines / Packages (Electrical / Mechanical / C&I)

2.Should be capable of achieving good quality cost effective purchases within stringent timelines. 3.Assess and develop pool of suppliers for various packages on the basis of cost and technology. 4.Implementation of standards for procurement terms to protect the company's Interest 5.Establish Guidelines for efficient negotiation and onboarding of suppliers, ensuring alignment to technical, quality and project schedule requirements.

6.Establish Guidelines for Inspection & Expediting ensuring with Production Quality checks and delivery schedule.

7.Monitor and ensure Vendor's performance with respect to PO T&C to meet Project Quality & Schedule requirement
