Job Description

  • Lead procurement and supplier management for electrical/electronic components and wiring harness commodities.
  • Develop sourcing strategies across OEM and distributor channels while driving negotiations, cost modelling, contract management, inventory planning, and demand alignment with PPC.
  • Represent the organisation confidently with global suppliers, building long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Program teams to ensure material readiness and compliance with aerospace standards.
  • Build and mature the SCM team: coach junior buyers, instil process discipline, and elevate sourcing capability.

The Successful Applicant

An ideal candidate will have an engineering or supply chain background with 10+ years of experience in procurement and supplier management. They should have a solid understanding of electrical and electronic components, with wiring harness exposure being a strong plus. They must be comfortable managing both OEM and distributor ecosystems within aerospace, electronics, EMS, or similar industries. Strong negotiation skills, cost engineering capability, ERP proficiency, and global sourcing experience are essential. The role also calls for clear communication, confident stakeholder management across US, Europe, and APAC suppliers, and proven leadership in guiding and developing procurement teams.
