We are seeking a Procurement Executive to join our dynamic team at a leading FMCG company in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring that we source high-quality products at the best prices, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize sourcing processes.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate stock.
- Analyze procurement data and generate reports to track performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management.
