Who Are We

Raptee.HV is a full- stack electric motorcycle startup with a very strong technical moat, founded in 2019 by four engineers from Chennai (Ex Tesla, Wipro), working on bringing a no-compromise upgrade motorcycle to an otherwise scooter- only EV market. Raptee is incubated at CIIC & ARAI.

Role Overview

The Procurement Executive ensures timely availability of parts by coordinating closely with suppliers and internal teams. The role involves vendor follow-ups, tracking deliveries, resolving quality or schedule issues, and supporting continuous improvement through performance monitoring and on-site visits.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct daily/weekly follow-ups with vendors via calls, emails, and visits to ensure on-time delivery of parts against purchase orders and production schedules.
  • Track and resolve delivery delays, shortages, or quality rejections; escalate critical issues to senior buyers or sourcing managers.
  • Monitor vendor performance metrics (OTD, rejection rates, lead times) and maintain vendor scorecards for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate payment releases, invoice matching, and reconciliation with accounts payable to avoid delays in vendor payments.
  • Visit vendor facilities (local/regional travel required) to audit processes, resolve bottlenecks, and build strong relationships.
  • Manage part lifecycle: from PO creation and order confirmation to receipt, inspection, and stock updates in ERP systems.
  • Document all communications, issues, and resolutions in the procurement system for traceability and reporting.
  • Support new vendor onboarding, qualification, and development under guidance from senior team members.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to align on part priorities and urgent requirements.
  • Participate in process improvements to streamline vendor management and reduce lead times/rejections.

Who Can Apply

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical, Automobile, Supply Chain, or related field (freshers/recent graduates preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for frequent vendor interactions and reporting.
  • Basic knowledge of procurement processes, ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Tally), and manufacturing part management.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (20-30%) to vendor sites for audits and follow-ups.
  • Proactive mindset with excellent follow-up discipline and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for tracking, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Team player with ability to handle pressure and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
