Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Procurement Execution

  • Execute competitive bid events and benchmarking projects.
  • Support sourcing projects based on client requirements.
  • Negotiate and contract with suppliers, including exceptions, to drive savings and value.
  • Interface with the strategic sourcing team to implement contracts.

Analysis & Optimization

  • Analyze market and client conditions to identify savings opportunities.
  • Perform periodic spend and supplier analysis within managed commodities.
  • Optimize the supplier base and recommend efficiency initiatives.

Client & Supplier Management

  • Communicate and negotiate with clients and suppliers at all organizational levels.
  • Educate clients and suppliers on sourcing strategies and process improvements.
  • Track and report supplier performance; resolve performance issues with Category Manager input.
  • Ensure consistent global procurement approach across geographies.

Process & Compliance

  • Promote process efficiency, leveraging automation where possible.
  • Track savings and maintain audit evidence.
  • Communicate sourcing instructions to operational buyers.
  • Comply with relevant business conduct guidelines and client procurement processes.
