Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible
Procurement Associate to support our fresh produce and exotic vegetable sourcing operations. The role involves identifying reliable farmers and vendors, managing supplies, and ensuring quality produce is delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and connect with farmers, suppliers, and markets for exotic vegetables or perishable goods
- Build strong relationships with vendors and maintain regular communication.
- Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, consistency, and pricing.
- Research and identify new sourcing opportunities and market trends.
- Place purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of vegetables.
- Track and manage daily orders, quality checks, and stock flow.
- Coordinate with logistics and inventory teams to avoid supply gaps.
- Ensure produce meets quality and freshness standards.
- Negotiate rates and terms to maintain cost efficiency.
- Support new initiatives to improve sourcing efficiency and reduce wastage.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or related field (mandatory)
Experience: Minimum 6 months of experience in procurement, supply chain, or agri-sourcing (preferably in vegetables or perishable goods)
Skills
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Basic knowledge of procurement and vendor management
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
Job Details
Salary Range: Up to 3 LPA
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Work Days: 6 days a week (Sunday Off)
