Our client is looking for a Manager, Procurement and Contracts to join their team in Benghazi, Libya to lead the end to end procurement operations and contract management.
Key Responsibilities will Include:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that drive cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle including sourcing, tendering, supplier evaluation, and contracting.
- Oversee the drafting, review, and execution of contracts in line with legal and regulatory standards.
- Establish strong supplier and vendor relationships to maximize value and minimize risk.
- Lead negotiations for high-value contracts, ensuring favorable commercial terms and compliance.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis, spend assessments, and procurement risk evaluations.
- Ensure procurement activities align with internal policies, sustainability goals, and compliance frameworks.
- Monitor supplier performance using SLAs and KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilize ERP systems and data analytics to streamline procurement processes and reporting.
- Resolve procurement-related disputes and ensure smooth contract lifecycle management.
Who we're looking for:
- Must have a bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field.
- Must have 8 years of experience in procurement and contracts management.
- Proficiency in ERP procurement modules and procurement automation tools.
- Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of legal, regulatory and compliance requirements in procurement.
