Job Description: Procurement Operations Analyst

About The Role
Stellantis is reinventing the future of mobility by establishing a next-generation global Software Engineering organization (SWE). As we accelerate our digital transformation and redefine the customer experience for the software-defined vehicle, we are expanding our Procurement Operations capabilities within the SWEO/SCPO team in India.
We are seeking a
Procurement Operations Analyst who will support end-to-end procurement processes for global software and engineering initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with global stakeholders, streamline procurement workflows, and ensure operational excellence in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Process & Operations
- Support creation, submission, and tracking of requisitions, purchase orders (POs) and invoices within the ERP system (preferably SAP).
- Facilitate the procurement lifecycle for software development and engineering teams, ensuring compliance with internal processes and timelines.
- Coordinate with global purchasing teams to support contract creation, approval workflows, and vendor onboarding as required.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a point of contact for SWE teams, ICT, global Purchasing, and Finance for all procurement-related activities.
- Understand project requirements by collaborating with software development teams and translating needs into procurement actions.
- Communicate procurement status, PO progress, and invoice updates to global and regional stakeholders.
Data Management, Reporting & Governance
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contract statuses, and spend tracking.
- Generate and share routine and ad hoc procurement reports for leadership and global teams.
- Monitor workflow bottlenecks and recommend improvements to enhance procurement efficiency.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure compliance with Stellantis processes, procurement guidelines, and audit requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of SWEO/SCPO procurement processes and internal documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Commerce, or related discipline.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in Procurement Operations, Business Operations, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP (requisition creation, PO management, approvals).
- High proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) and collaboration platforms.
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities with the ability to manage shifting priorities.
- Demonstrated experience working in diverse and cross-functional teams.
- Self-driven, proactive, and outcome-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced experience using SAP procurement modules, workflow management, and reporting.
- Prior experience in Project Management or Business Finance functions.
- Experience working in an automotive OEM or large global enterprise environment.
- Previous collaboration with global teams, offshore teams, and external vendors.
- Working knowledge of software engineering or ICT procurement processes is a plus.
