Procurement Analyst

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead the production of Geotextile Fabric & Bags. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring quality standards, optimizing workforce efficiency, and improving production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing Direct Material for all SKAPS India Locations.
• Managing Planning to Payment cycle of Raw Material for SKAPS India Locations.
• Evaluate Demand & Ensure Optimum Supply Coverage
• Managing Deliveries & Inventory Level for all plants
• Ensure Zero Stock Out case for RM/PM for SKAPS India Location.
• Sourcing of Supplier w.r.t Capacity, Cost, Quality, Capability & Reliability.
• Vendor Evaluation & Development.
• Negotiating with Suppliers
• Raw Material Price Trend Analysis.
• Complaint Handling & Resolving same with Supplier.
• Manage Supplier Relationship to ensure uninterrupted supply,
• Managing Categorised Supply Agreements for Packaging Materials i.e., Understanding Demand, Observing Current Price Trend, Allocation to Suppliers, Monitoring Consumption and Triggering New Discussions to ensure smooth supplies.
• Ensure critical Supplies for critical projects.
• Finalization with Supplier i.e., Negotiate Pricing, Contracts, Terms and Deadlines with Suppliers
• Evaluating requirement & initiating Procure to Pay or Source to Pay cycle.
• Lead & develop team members & provide guidance wherever require.
• Process Improvement in Supply Chain

Qualifications & Skills:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Textile Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in weaving and composites.

Technical & Interpersonal Skills:

Strong understanding of weaving pattern/design, fabric construction and composite materials.

Prior knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is preferred.

Hands-on problem-solving skills in engineering, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide team members

Expertise in workforce management and compliance standards.
