Role: Windows Administrator

Skills / Experience Required

  • Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
  • Clustering/VMware/AD/DNS/AV/WSUS/Hyper-V/ PowerShell/Cloud
  • IIS/Windows

Key Competencies

  • Technology 1 - Windows 2022/2019/2016, IIS, DFS, VMware
  • Technology 2 - Good knowledge in Documentation like Word and Excel.

Job Responsibilities

  • Must be a good team player and possess excellent interpersonal & Communication skills.
  • In depth understanding on Administration and Troubleshooting of supporting technologies: Windows Server 2022 & 2016 2019, IIS, Anti-Virus, Systems Management, Optimization Tuning, High Availability configurations (Microsoft Clustering, NLB, DFS), WSUS patching, OS related issues etc.
  • Upgrade and Maintain OS Versions. Managing the Calls like production Node, Domain controller down, File system corruption on production server and production major H/W failure
  • Analyze log, track, and resolve complex issues pertaining to networking connectivity issues, Windows servers, and applications
  • Coordination with respective stake holder for hardware and software installations, as well as upgrades
  • Maintaining & Monitoring OPManager Server. Configuring & upgrading the OPManager servers.
  • Creating GPO, DNS & monitoring the AD servers.
  • Isolate and diagnose common Wintel system problems and document system events to ensure continuous functioning
  • Monitor and troubleshooting, testing, upgrades, and configuration of Wintel (Windows / Hyper-V) system files and services
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
  • Effectively coordinate and communicate with all the stakeholders (internal teams and clients).
  • Basic knowledge on Network technologies
  • Work with Change & Problem Management Tools
  • Identify and recommend improvements to existing processes
