You will be the subject-matter-expert providing real-time process engineering support to the manufacturing process at all Zydus OSD Manufacturing Sites.
Your primary responsibilities will include designing, project managing, and implementing new and existing systems, utilities, and equipment to ensure Quality, Compliance, and improved OTIF for all products produced.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Create specifications for process equipment and utility consumption.
- Evaluate and provide expert inputs for new and existing OEMs involved in new technology for Process equipment as per cGMP.
- Develop BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs, and perform heat and mass balances.
- Lead FATs, verifying conformance with functional design specifications (FDS).
- Create specifications for process equipment and utility consumption.
- Provide inputs on improvements for process efficiency.
- Plan and implement testing and commissioning procedures.
- Maintain thorough documentation of meetings, correspondence, and technical deliverables.
- Contribute to plant layout and elevation drawings.
- Write process and functional descriptions of operation.
- Conduct plant audits and performance reviews across manufacturing networks.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and industry standards, including sanitary design requirements.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to reduce design discrepancies and documentation gaps.
- Build strong relationships with key technical stakeholders.
- Additionally provide training support as required and develop or modify SOPs for processes and equipment.
