Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer with 36 years of experience in plant operations and project activities, including Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning within petroleum refinery or petrochemical industries. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of process systems, safety studies, and operational hazards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support plant Operations, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning activities.
- Review and interpret P&IDs, process systems, equipment layouts, and instrumentation details.
- Participate in Basic Process Engineering activities and process system reviews.
- Conduct and support Safety Studies, including HAZOP and Risk Assessments.
- Understand and verify process logic, interlocks, and control systems.
- Analyze operational hazards and ensure safe startup and shutdown procedures.
- Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams for smooth project execution.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations.
Required Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of process equipment such as:
- Distillation Columns
- Furnaces
- Compressors
- Chillers
- Steam Systems
- Utility Systems
- Knowledge of operational hazards and safety protocols in refinery/petrochemical plants.
- Familiarity with control systems, interlocks, and process automation.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent understanding of P&IDs and process systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in English (verbal & written).
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
