Job Responsibilities and Major Activities / Tasks:
Design review of new project HS dies.
HS dies buy-off .HLTO of new project HS dies.
Manpower management & tooling breakdown analysis
Maintain COPQ target, IATF Audit documentation.
Spare part management, TPM of Hot stamping dies. Die spotting and HLTO, Development of Hot stamping parts, Trouble Shooting of hot stamping parts
To ensure process parameters are adhered.
To ensure and monitor new press, furnace, feeder programming on HS lines.
Should be able to control HS process.
To optimise cycle times & increase ASPH on HS press lines.
To conduct daily process audits on HS lines & ensure standard parameters & processes are followed.
Setting up and operating stamping presses: Configure and tend to stamping presses to produce high-quality metal parts while ensuring safety standards are met.
Monitoring production: Oversee press operations, adjust as needed, and get performed routine TPM tasks to minimize downtime.
Quality control: Inspect finished parts for quality, identify defects, and ensure products meet specifications.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with stamping presses, and coordinate repairs when necessary.
Maintaining records: Document production data, machine faults, and interventions for quality control and process improvement.
Technical knowledge: Understanding of stamping press operations, machine setup, and blueprint reading.
Attention to detail: Ensuring product quality and identifying defects.
Problem-solving: Troubleshooting and resolving issues with stamping presses.
Communication: Collaborating with quality control teams and other stakeholders
