Role Description
- You will be working with the Credit Risk Management (CRM) Change Team within Deutsche Bank's Group COO function, a team responsible for driving strategic & regulatory transformation and process re-engineering across the End-to-End (E2E) credit life cycle.
- As the Process & Governance Specialist for AI Integration, you will play a pivotal role in reshaping our credit risk processes by embedding Artificial Intelligence solutions. Your primary responsibility will be the seamless integration of AI capabilities within our Credit Risk transformation initiatives and key governance frameworks. You will be instrumental in ensuring that the adoption of AI is managed in a controlled, compliant, and efficient manner.
- This role requires a unique blend of process-re-engineering expertise and a strategic understanding of technology's potential. You will work in close collaboration with AI specialists, technology partners, and subject matter experts from Risk functions to map, analyze, and optimize credit workflows for AI integration.
- Your work will ensure our transformation programs not only deliver innovation but also adhere to the highest standards of governance and strategic alignment. You will also be responsible for actively contributing materials for Operating and Steering Forums and supporting the Group Strategic Analytics (GSA) AI Program Manager in reporting and tracking progress.

Your key responsibilities
- Process Mapping and AI Integration: Lead the detailed mapping and optimization of credit workflows to strategically integrate and embed new AI capabilities, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
- Governance and Framework Support: Support the Program Manager while adhering to established governance structures for AI-driven projects, ensuring transformation initiatives align with best practices and key decisioning governance.
- Working Group Management: Organize and manage cross-functional CRM working groups, bringing together experts from various domains to drive the design and implementation of AI-integrated processes.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure strategic alignment between the CRM Change team's objectives and those of key partners, including Technology, other CRO areas, and GSA teams.
- Control and Compliance: Design and embed robust control points and monitoring mechanisms for AI-augmented processes, ensuring adherence to internal policies (e.g., Model Risk Management) and external regulations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Drive clear communication and prepare documentation for senior management and stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment on process designs, project timelines, and strategic priorities.
Your skills and experience
Education and Experience:
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Technology, Engineering (or comparable qualification)
- 10+ years of professional experience in the financial industry, preferably within risk management, process re-engineering, or technology change functions.
- Demonstrable experience in process mapping, analysis, and optimization, ideally with a focus on integrating new technologies into existing business workflows.
- Experience contributing to large-scale transformation programs, with an understanding of project management frameworks and governance processes.
- A strong understanding of the credit risk lifecycle and associated processes is essential familiarity with AI, machine learning concepts, or data-driven projects is a significant advantage.

- Strategic & Analytical Mindset:Ability to think strategically about the application of new technologies like AI while maintaining a detail-oriented approach to process design and risk management.
- Stakeholder Management & Leadership:Proven ability to manage working groups and build alignment across diverse teams, including Technology, Risk, and other functions. Excellent skills in influencing and communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
- Program Governance:Knowledge of program and project management frameworks and the ability to support governance structures that ensure controlled and effective delivery.
- Excellent Communication:Superior written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Adaptability:Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, working under pressure with tight deadlines to deliver on complex change initiatives.
