Position:Private Label Procurement Manager.

Location: Patna, Bihar

Job Summary: A Private Label Procurement Manager oversees the entire lifecycle of own-brand products, from sourcing manufacturers to delivering finished goods. They negotiate contracts, ensure quality standards, and optimize costs to improve profitability. Key duties include managing supplier relationships, analyzing market trends, and collaborating on packaging/product development.

Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Sourcing & Management: Identify, audit, and negotiate with manufacturers for private label products, ensuring capacity and quality standards.
  • Contract Negotiation: Secure favorable terms, pricing, and payment schedules to optimize costs.
  • Product Development Collaboration: Partner with brand/marketing teams on packaging design and product specifications.
  • Supply Chain Management: Monitor inventory levels, oversee logistics, and mitigate risks of supply chain disruptions.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all products comply with safety and brand quality standards.
  • Performance Analysis: Track cost-saving initiatives and supplier performance metrics.

Requirements

Requirements and skills:

  • Experience: Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing, specifically with private label or contract manufacturing.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate contracts and build long-term vendor partnerships.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost structures.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP software, supplier management systems, and Microsoft Office (specifically Excel).
