Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Reference Data Analyst to support private credit and private debt instruments. The role will focus on data quality remediation, issue management, and stabilization of reference data to reduce downstream inconsistencies across accounting, risk, and reporting systems.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, execution-driven, and comfortable operating in a BAU + urgent remediation environment, partnering with global stakeholders to resolve recurring private credit data inconsistencies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain reference data for private credit / loan instruments
Triage, classify, and resolve private credit data quality issues by instrument, structure, and root cause
Perform hands-on onboarding, updates, and remediation of instrument data
Address recurring issues (e.g., facility/tranche mismatches, accruals, interest types, admin vs. internal system differences) by interpreting loan tapes, admin reports, and credit agreements
Provide immediate data fixes and support accurate portfolio monitoring (covenant compliance, risk assessment, borrower health)
Standardize and automate reporting processes; support advanced reporting tools for portfolio and data quality insights
Ensure seamless data integration and continuity across upstream and downstream systems
Support documentation, controls, and data governance activities
Coordinate with onshore stakeholders, operations, and technology teams
Required Skills & Experience
- 48 years of experience in reference data or instrument data management
- Strong understanding of private credit / loans / private debt securities
- Experience in data quality issue resolution, reconciliation, and root cause analysis
