Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Printing Technician located in Chengalpattu. The Printing Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing equipment, ensuring optimal print production quality, and supporting printer setups. Additional tasks include troubleshooting technical issues, managing bindery processes, and ensuring efficient operations within the print production environment.

Role Overview

• Experience in Print Production and Printing processes
• Expertise in Printer Support and Troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Bindery equipment and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant certifications or training in printing technologies will be an advantage
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor printing presses (flexo/label/packaging)
• Set up jobs plates, inks, substrates, and machine parameters
• Ensure color accuracy, alignment, and print quality
• Troubleshoot machine issues and support maintenance
• Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance
• Maintain production records and follow safety standards

Qualifications

Diploma in Printing Technology (preferred)

ITI / Vocational training in printing can also apply

Experience

13 years in printing press operations preferred

Fresher with strong practical exposure are welcome
