We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented PCB Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll learn the full PCB design processfrom schematic capture to multi-layer board layoutsand help build the next generation of robotics and IoT hardware. You'll gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and practices while having fun working on cutting-edge projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and refine multi-layer PCB layouts
- Create and verify footprints and component libraries
- Utilize tools like Altium Designer, KiCad, or Eagle for schematic capture and layout
- Ensure manufacturability by adhering to PCB design guidelines and parameters
- Conduct basic testing and validation of newly manufactured PCBs
- Prepare documentation, including Gerber files and BOMs
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving PCB design and performance issues
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of electronic circuits and schematics
- Familiarity with multi-layer PCB layout and manufacturing processes
- Hands-on experience or coursework with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle)
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with PCB design projects
- Exposure to PCB testing methods and tools
- Understanding of DFM and DFA principles
