About WiredLeap Technology
WiredLeap is a high-growth AI and engineering firm specializing in intelligent vision systems and high-performance hardware. We bridge the gap between complex software and rugged, real-world deployment. At WiredLeap, we value functional, robust engineering over theoretical shortcuts.
The Role We are looking for a skilled PCB Designer to lead the development of our next-generation hardware. This isn't just about drawing traces; you will be designing the essential support infrastructure for high-compute System-on-Modules (SoMs) and Edge AI platforms. You will own the hardware lifecycle—from initial schematics to production-ready multi-layer boards.
Key Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design multi-layer PCB layouts for support boards for compute-heavy SoMs.
- High-Speed Interfacing: Implement and route complex interfaces including Ethernet, USB 3.0+, HDMI, LVDS, and MIPI.
- Vision Integration: Design hardware interfaces for camera modules (CSI/USB) for real-time vision analytics.
- Power & Signal Integrity: Lead power supply design, manage EMI/EMC considerations, and high-speed routing constraints.
- Validation: Perform hands-on debugging and hardware-in-the-loop testing to ensure production-grade reliability.
- Manufacturing: Ensure DFM/DFT compliance and prepare full production documentation (Gerbers, BOM).
Technical Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in PCB design.
- Tools: Mastery of professional EDA tools (Altium Designer preferred, Eagle, KiCad, or Allegro).
- Hardware Knowledge: Strong foundation in analog systems and high-speed digital circuit design.
- Protocols: Deep understanding of I2C, SPI, UART, and high-speed buses.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
