Job Summary (Experience: 8+ years)
We are looking for a highly skilled Linux Systems Expert who enjoys working close to the operating system and solving deep technical challenges. This role is ideal for someone passionate about Linux internals, networking, real-time systems, and media technologies, and who thrives in debugging complex, performance-critical environments.
You will work on building, optimizing, and debugging high-performance systems at scale, collaborating closely with engineering teams across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform deep debugging and root-cause analysis of complex system-level issues.
- Work extensively with Linux OS internals, kernel architecture, and system performance tuning.
- Design, analyse, and optimize networking components using TCP, UDP, WebRTC, and real-time protocols.
- Build and maintain systems using containers and modern deployment environments.
- Develop, integrate, and debug audio/video pipelines and real-time media systems.
- Work with audio/video codecs such as H.264, Opus, and AAC.
- Integrate and troubleshoot browser plugins and media pipelines.
- Work with Android platforms, toolchains, and cross-compilation environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong Linux system-level expertise, including kernel concepts and OS internals.
- Excellent debugging, profiling, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols (TCP, UDP, WebRTC).
- Hands-on experience with containers (Docker, container runtimes) and deployment systems.
- Strong knowledge of real-time audio/video technologies and media streaming concepts.
- Experience with media codecs: H.264, Opus, AAC.
- Familiarity with browser-based media architectures and plugins.
- Practical experience with CI/CD tools, automation frameworks, and DevOps practices.
- Working knowledge of Android build systems, toolchains, and cross-compilation.
Nice to Have
- Experience with performance optimization and low-latency systems.
- Exposure to large-scale distributed or real-time systems.
- Contributions to open-source projects related to Linux, networking, or media.
