We are hiring a Principal Engineering manager for this business/product.

Responsibilities
As anEngineering Manager, you will lead,mentor,and grow a team of talentedanddiverse engineers who are versed in deliveringproductsthat thrivewith deep customer value.
You willpartnerwithotherEngineering Managers,Architects,andleaders fromother disciplinesto build sustainableteams, create an Engineering culture that helps deliver products that our customers love.You will work acrossteams, collaborating with partner teamsto create innovative solutionsfor protecting Linux servers through Microsoft Defender for Endpoint producthelping grow the business.You willbe requiredto provide leadership,create engineering rigor,maintaindataand results driven culture, nurture a team culture of high collaboration and trust, and drive

Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience as a software engineer working onenterprisesoftware and a proventrack recordof having shipped commercially successful software products &services.
- Ability to nurture and growtalent.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Software Engineers, Program Managers, Security researchers, and DataScientists.
- 3+ years of experience leading and buildingteams.
- 7+ years of experience designingsystemapplications onLinux.
- 7+ years of experience in development principles and patterns.
- (Optional)7+ years of experience buildingkernel modules for Linux.
- (Optional)Contributions to Linux Open Source in the kernel space.
- Familiar with Linux Internals and experience in building Linux products.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Familiar with secure software development life cycle.
- Experience with software development tools such as source control systems (GIT), automated build systems, compilers, software validation systems, project tracking, and lifecycle management systems.
- Work independently, drive and manage technical and architecturaldependencies.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science
