Role:
We are looking for a
Principal QA Engineer who is passionate about
automation at scale and driving
quality across complex enterprise systems. This is a
strategic and hands-on role where you will:
- Architect and implement advanced QA automation frameworks for product features and operational workflows
Lead automation initiatives that go beyond testingcovering security scans, dependency updates, and operational efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA engineers, setting best practices and driving continuous improvement
You will work on a platform that emphasizes
security, resilience, and diagnosability. Few of the recent accomplishments include:
- Ransomware protection and recovery features
- Secure boot support
- Offline Replication
- Disaster Recovery
- Automated security scanning and third-party library updates
- Integration with Launchable, Test Rail & other dev tools
This role offers the opportunity to
shape QA strategy, influence engineering practices, and collaborate with global teams in a highly innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable QA automation frameworks for functional, performance, and operational testing
- Define automation strategy for CI/CD pipelines and operational processes
- Drive root cause analysis and implement systematic improvements for product robustness
- Partner with engineering, product management, and support teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Act as a QA thought leader, promoting best practices and continuous improvement across teams
Required Skills and Experience:
- 812 years of experience in QA automation and enterprise product development
- Strong programming skills in Python; experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD integration
- Expertise in designing QA frameworks for performance, scalability, OS-level interactions, and multi-threaded systems
- Proven ability to diagnose complex issues and deliver solutions under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with distributed teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Deep understanding of file systems, operating systems, and virtualization technologies
- Hands-on experience with hypervisors (e.g., VMware, KVM, Hyper-V) and virtualized environments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exposure to security, performance, monitoring, and scalability
- Knowledge of web application security (SSL/TLS, certificates, ciphers)
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments
- Java experience is a plus
