Principal Software Engineer

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

• Translate business requirements into conceptual solution architecture and high-level project estimates
• Define scalable, secure, and high-performance SaaS application architectures
• Ensure architectural alignment with business, technical, and operational requirements

Application Development & Implementation

• Develop, enhance, and implement SaaS-hosted applications based on business needs
• Utilize technologies including Java, Spring Cloud, React, NoSQL, AI, and cross-platform frameworks
• Apply object-oriented design principles and coding best practices
• Perform performance tuning to ensure application scalability and reliability

Cloud, Containers & DevOps

• Design and deploy applications using containers and container orchestration technologies
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift for application deployment and management
• Support cloud-native and microservices-based architectures

Data Modeling & Management

• Perform logical data modeling and database design
• Handle database definition, manipulation, and data synchronization
• Research, extract, and analyze complex data sets to support application functionality

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Write clean, efficient, and testable code including automated unit tests
• Perform and review unit testing to ensure code quality and functionality
• Participate in test review, analysis, witnessing, and software certification activities

SDLC & Compliance

• Author and review technical requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Apply appropriate standards, security practices, and methodologies throughout the SDLC
• Ensure compliance with organizational and industry software development standards
