Principal Software Engineer

Principal Engineer with deep expertise in Azure Cloud, endtoend cloud migration, .NET, UI frameworks like React, CI/CD pipeline creation, security design, and fullcycle architecture ownership, Use of AI tools , Generative and agentic AI

The candidate will work as a Principal Engineer for one or multiple projects, driving architecture, cloud adoption, and engineering excellence

Primary Responsibilities

Own endtoend architecture and technical design of complex systems.

Lead Azure cloud migration initiatives including assessment, planning, execution, optimization, and security.

Design and develop scalable cloudnative applications using .NET and React.

Create robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalents.

Drive engineering best practices including coding standards, security guidelines, performance tuning, and automation.

Collaborate with product owners, architects, and crossfunctional teams to define technical requirements.

Review and optimize system performance, availability, cost, and security.

Create highlevel and lowlevel technical designs, sequence diagrams, data models, and architecture documentation.

Contribute handson to development activities and mentor engineering teams.

Ensure adherence to cloud governance, compliance, and security best practices.

Conduct PoCs and evaluate new technologies for adoption.

Participate in architecture reviews and guide tech decisions across projects.

Must Have Skills

12+ years of experience in software engineering.

Strong expertise in Azure Cloud (App Services, AKS, Storage, Networking, DevOps, Security).

Handson experience leading full cloud migration projects endtoend.

Expertlevel knowledge in .NET Core, C#, Web APIs, microservices.

Strong experience in Reactbased UI development.

Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Deep understanding of system design, architecture patterns, and scalability.

Strong SQL Server design and optimization skills.

Handson experience in writing unit tests and automated test frameworks.

The candidate must have handson experience applying Agentic AI and Generative AI to solve complex realworld engineering problems.
