Within Azure Data, the databases team builds andmaintainsMicrosoft's operational Database systems. We store and manage data in a structured way to enable multitude of applications across various industries. We areseekinga highly motivated and dynamic Principal Software Engineer withstrongbackground in systems design/databases to work in AzureDocumentDB. Asseasonedengineer, you will partner/collaborate with engineers and leaders, helping team deliver features spanning the query engine, index structures, performance, highavailabilityand storage layouts.We'relooking for someone who hasdemonstratedhistoryof solving hard technical problems, architected backend systems and is motivated to takeinitiativeand help the team deliver fast for the entire product lifecycle.
