Inflight has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Principal Software Engineer.
You will be part of a team responsible for
Airborne System Software design and architectural improvements.
evolving and scaling the platform for any WAN technologies (ATG4/ 2Ku/ ESA etc.)
delivery of application technology solutions and data information planning efforts.
Skillset:
- Minimum 13 years of experience in the Software industry with 3 years of working on the architect.
- Good development experience with Java / C++ / C / Go.
- Experience in CI/CD and AWS deployments (EC2, SQS, SNS, Lambda, S3, Aurora, DynamoDB)
- Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycles; expert knowledge in Agile and Lean methods.
- Ability to support architectural suggestions and bring up a high available and scalable system.
- Proponent of DevOps, TDD, Agile/XP practices, and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize work, coordinate with onsite stakeholders and well organized.
- Flexibility in working with technologies and platforms.
- A commitment to excellence, best practices, and the continuous improvement of our products, code base, processes, and tools.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge on Agile software development (story & sprint)
- Knowledge with Continuous Integration and Test Automation methodology
- Experience in GoLang
- Experience with creating and validating user interfaces
