Job Purpose

The Salesforce Business Analyst acts as the key link between business stakeholders and digital delivery teams, translating business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions. The role focuses on requirement definition, solution design support, backlog grooming, testing, and adoption—ensuring Salesforce (and related platforms such as ServiceMax, CPQ, and ERP integrations) effectively support end-to-end business processes.

This role is critical in large-scale transformation programs, continuous improvement releases, and global rollouts across Services

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements across Salesforce-based processes (Sales, Services, Contracts, Installed Base, Case Management).

Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.

Ensure requirements are clearly understood by delivery teams and aligned with global templates and reference models.

Maintain traceability between business requirements and delivered functionality.

Solution Design & Functional Expertise

Act as the functional expert for Salesforce and adjacent platforms (ServiceMax, CPQ, integrations with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle).

Collaborate with Architects and Solution Leads to define end-to-end solution designs.

Validate solution options against business needs, scalability, and long-term sustainability.

Contribute to design reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce and enterprise best practices.

Backlog Management & Agile Delivery

Work closely with Product Owners to groom and prioritize the Salesforce backlog.

Support sprint planning by clarifying scope, dependencies, and functional details.

Participate actively in agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives).

Ensure delivered features meet acceptance criteria and business expectations.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders on Salesforce topics.

Facilitate workshops, deep dives, and solution walkthroughs.

Communicate clearly on scope, impacts, risks, and dependencies.

Support change management and user adoption through training materials and documentation.

Requirements

Functional & Technical Skills

Strong experience as a Business Analyst in Salesforce environments.

Solid understanding of Salesforce core clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) and data model.

Experience with integrations between Salesforce and ERP / CPQ / Field Service platforms.

Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery models and tools (JIRA, Confluence).

Business & Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to simplify complex topics and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Proven stakeholder management in global, cross-functional environments.

Structured, detail-oriented, and quality-focused mindset.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field.

8+ years of experience in Business Analysis roles, with significant Salesforce exposure.

Experience in large-scale digital transformation or global template programs is a strong plus.
