We are seeking an experienced and visionary academic leader to serve as the Principal of our upcoming CBSE Startup School. The Principal will play a pivotal role in establishing and shaping the academic, operational, and cultural foundation of the institution. This is a leadership role requiring a forward-thinking educator with strong management capabilities, deep knowledge of school systems, and a passion for developing future-ready learners.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & School Setup
- Lead the establishment of the school's academic and administrative framework from inception.
- Develop and implement school vision, mission, and core values.
- Strategically plan infrastructure, staffing, systems, and educational resources.
- Establish policies, processes, and compliance as per CBSE norms.
Academic Management
- Oversee the implementation of CBSE curriculum and modern pedagogical practices.
- Design and promote experiential, inquiry-based, and competency-driven learning.
- Lead academic planning, assessments, teacher training, and curriculum enrichment initiatives.
- Ensure high standards of teaching, learning outcomes, and student well-being.
Operational Management
- Supervise day-to-day school operations, budgeting, admissions, safety, and facilities.
- Collaborate with School Management and Corporate Office for smooth execution of institutional plans.
- Implement digital tools, school ERP, and automation systems for operational efficiency.
Staff Development
- Recruit, mentor, and develop teaching and administrative staff.
- Establish performance management, professional development, and appraisal systems.
- Build a supportive, collaborative, and growth-oriented staff culture.
Stakeholder & Community Engagement
- Foster constructive communication and partnerships with parents, management, and external stakeholders.
- Represent the school in public forums, educational bodies, and accreditation agencies.
- Promote a culture of inclusion, ethics, innovation, and excellence.
Student-Centric Focus
- Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that supports student academic and emotional development.
- Promote co-curricular and extracurricular programs for holistic growth.
- Handle student discipline with fairness, empathy, and discretion.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field (M.Ed./Ph.D/Ed.D preferred).
- Experience as founder Principal is mandatory and 7+ years as Principal in a CBSE School.
- Experience in school setup, accreditation, affiliation, or curriculum implementation.
- Strong knowledge of CBSE policies, NEP 2020, educational innovations, and school operations.
