Job Description

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze customer requirements, specify, design, test and implement moderate or complex features and enhancements to existing software application and architecture. You will be responsible for authoring and producing design and test artifacts required to do so. You will work within Agile development framework with high functioning global engineering teams to meet team goals.

You will communicate with and guide engineering, QA, UX and information development teams in creating deliverables such as UX designs, code, test ware, test plans, technical designs, and feature documentation. Ensure design changes are reviewed, tested, certified, managed, and released. Create product collateral documents and videos. Engage in external forums to communicate with customers, consultants, and customer support personnel as a subject matter expert. Present and demo features to executive stakeholder groups.

Be an advocate for the product, drive feature adoption, and provide domain and product related guidance and expertise to resolve business problems.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and complex, involving the application of advanced technical and business skills in area of specialization. You will be a leading individual contributor, and as a team member, be providing direction and mentoring to others.

  • Degree/Major: Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Business, MBA is a plus.
  • Equivalent experience relevant to the functional area, 6-10 years of software engineering, or related experience as a software programmer, business analyst or techno-functional product manager
  • Strong knowledge of software development processes (design, testing, implementation, and release)
  • Experience collaborating with engineers and an understanding of technologies
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to absorb and assimilate information rapidly
  • Excellent written, presentation, and sales skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and quickly with both internal teams and external customers
  • Demonstrated success at a competitive college or university
  • Exceptional listening and collaboration skills, and the ability to coordinate within global teams across organizational boundaries, and timezones
  • Experience with the Procure to Pay domain and/or Oracle Fusion Applications is highly desired
  • Experience in Agile Development methodology and/or knowledge of SCRUM fundamentals is highly desirable
  • Understanding of AI Agents and knowledge of LLMs and their applications is a plus
