Position Title: Principal Product Manager Publisher AI Suite
Department: Product & Engineering
Job Scope: India
Location: Noida
Work Setting: In office
Purpose of the Job: We are seeking a strategic, technically strong, and execution-oriented Principal Product Manager to own and drive the Publisher AI Suite a new product line that brings three interconnected products to healthcare publishers worldwide:
- SiteLLM A site-specific AI assistant powered by each publisher's own medical content. Deployed as a modular chatbot widget or a standalone ChatGPT-like experience, it drives reader engagement while creating new ad inventory for publishers.
- Content Marketplace A platform enabling medical publishers to license their editorial content (articles, abstracts, CME modules, datasets) to pharma companies and AI/LLM training data buyers, with structured licensing tiers and automated usage tracking.
This role is pivotal. You will define the vision, shape the strategy, and drive execution across all three products working with a lean, high-velocity engineering team using AI-assisted development tooling. You will be the connective tissue between engineering, design, sales, compliance, and publisher partners.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
- Own the product vision and roadmap for the Publisher AI Suite across all products (SiteLLM, Content Marketplace), ensuring alignment with Doceree's broader platform strategy and revenue goals.
- Deeply understand the competitive landscape and articulate how we win against each.
- Define the sequencing and prioritization of features across the three-product portfolio, managing the tension between shipping fast and building durable infrastructure.
- Develop the go-to-market narrative for multiple audiences: publishers (adoption), doctors (engagement), pharma companies (ad spend), and AI companies (data licensing).
Product Development & Execution
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation through launch and iteration for all three products, running in parallel with a team of engineers.
- Write clear, actionable PRDs with well-defined scope, user stories, acceptance criteria, and dependency maps. Break large initiatives into weekly shippable increments.
- Work closely with engineering to make sharp build-vs-buy decisions especially around LLM infrastructure (model selection, RAG pipeline architecture, vector stores), and content ingestion pipelines.
- Own the modular SDK architecture from a product perspective
- Drive internal quality gates: define test query sets for SiteLLM accuracy, set hallucination rate thresholds, review RAG citation quality, and ensure production readiness before each publisher deployment.
Publisher & Doctor Experience
- Design the publisher adoption funnel
- Define the doctor experience across the anonymous-to-authenticated spectrum ensuring anonymous SiteLLM usage is valuable enough to retain
- Collaborate with UX/UI to design both the FAB chatbot widget and the standalone chat page, ensuring both feel like natural extensions of a publisher's site rather than bolted-on tools.
- Own the publisher onboarding experience end-to-end from self-service SDK integration to configuration portal to ongoing support.
Marketplace & Monetization
- Define and validate the content licensing model: Standard (non-exclusive, time-limited), Premium (semi-exclusive, perpetual), and Enterprise (exclusive, custom terms) tiers working with legal and commercial teams to finalize terms.
- Design the buyer experience for the Content Marketplace from content discovery and sampling to self-service purchasing (Standard tier) and sales-assisted deals (Premium/Enterprise).
- Shape the SiteLLM monetization strategy: contextual display ads, native AI text ads, sponsored recommendations, and Virtual Brand Rep (RepTwin) integration ensuring ad experiences are medically appropriate and add value rather than disrupt.
- Build and track the revenue model across all monetization surfaces (SiteLLM ads + Marketplace licensing), providing publishers with a unified revenue dashboard.
Performance Monitoring & Growth
- Define and track KPIs across all products:
- SiteLLM: Chat sessions per month, session duration, citation accuracy, hallucination rate, user return rate, ad CTR/CPM
- Marketplace: Content items ingested, quality scores, active buyers, GMV, publisher payout, license compliance rate
- Analyze user feedback, engagement data, and funnel metrics to continuously iterate and optimize.
- Run the weekly release cadence every feature should ship as an increment, with a big-bang delivery.
Compliance & Trust
- Work with legal and security teams to ensure HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, and SOC2 compliance across all three products particularly for SSO data handling, chat content storage, and content licensing.
- Champion data privacy as a product feature: transparent controls for doctors (what data is shared, with whom), bot/crawler blocking for publishers, and usage-rights enforcement for marketplace buyers.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years owning a multi-product portfolio or platform product.
- Demonstrated experience with AI/ML-powered products ideally involving LLMs, RAG pipelines, conversational AI, or recommendation systems. You should be able to discuss embedding models, retrieval strategies, prompt engineering, and hallucination mitigation fluently.
- Experience with marketplace or platform dynamics understanding of two-sided markets, network effects, supply-demand balancing, and licensing/pricing models.
- Proven ability to work with small, fast-moving engineering teams (3-8 engineers) and ship products at startup velocity while maintaining quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication you'll be writing PRDs, presenting to leadership, pitching to publishers, and briefing sales teams.
- Analytical mindset with strong data literacy comfortable with SQL, product analytics tools, and using data to make prioritization decisions.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in healthcare, pharma, or health-tech understanding of HCP workflows, medical publishing, clinical content, MeSH taxonomy, NPI systems, or pharma advertising.
- Experience with content management, digital rights management, or data licensingplatforms.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR in health context, SOC2).
- Experience building developer platforms or SDKs understanding what makes a great developer experience (documentation, sandbox, quick integration).
- Prior experience at an AdTech or publisher-side platform understanding of ad inventory, programmatic advertising, CPM/CPC models, and publisher monetization.
- Hands-on familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector), LLM APIs(OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models), or content ingestion pipelines.
What Makes This Role Unique: This is not a single-product PM role. You will own a three-product suite at the intersection of healthcare, AI, and content commerce three of the highest-growth domains in technology today.
- The healthcare data monetization market is projected to reach $1.16B by 2030 (14.9% CAGR). You'll be building the marketplace infrastructure to capture a share of this.
- Site-specific LLMs for publishers are an emerging category with no dominant player. Companies like Ask My Brand report 3x session time increases you'll build the healthcare-specific version with built-in monetization.
You will have direct access to Doceree's existing network of 2,000+ publishers and 6M+ verified HCPs a distribution advantage that most startups would spend years building. Your job is to turn that network into a product flywheel.
