Principal Product Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Vision: Define and evolve the product strategy in alignment with Amadeus distribution goals, focusing on simplification, scalability, and customer value. Strong interaction with Universal Distribution/Single API project, and also deeply involved in the LCC product strategy
- Customer & Market Insight: Engage with travel sellers and airline partners to understand their needs and translate them into actionable product features and enhancements.
- Roadmap Ownership: Prioritize features based on ROI, customer impact, and strategic alignment. Manage the product backlog and ensure timely delivery of releases.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, product marketing, legal, commercial teams (pre-sales, account team, customer success) to ensure product consistency and readiness across all touchpoints.
- Performance Monitoring: Define KPIs and success metrics. Use data to drive decisions and continuously improve product adoption and satisfaction.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in product management, ideally in travel technology or API-based platforms.
- Strong understanding of airline distribution, REST/JSON APIs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex problems.
- Agile methodology experience (SAFe or similar)
- Fluent in English
