The Impact you will have in this role:

The Systems Engineering family is responsible for the entire technical effort to evolve and verify solutions that satisfy client needs. The primary focus is centered on reducing risk and improving the efficiency, performance, stability, security, and quality of all systems and platforms. The Platform Hosting & Engineering role specializes in the development, implementation, and support of all distributed, mainframe, and network hosting services across the firm. Responsible for the installation, configuration, programming, and support of operating systems, complex networks, and distributed environments, deploying solutions to increase overall system reliability across the firm.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain automated network workflows using Itential
  • Develop and support Ansible playbooks and roles for network and infrastructure automation
  • Automate common network and security operational tasks, including provisioning, changes, and validation
  • Integrate automation workflows with APIs, network devices, cloud platforms, and monitoring tools
  • Apply DevOps practices such as version control, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code
  • Collaborate with network, security, and platform teams to identify automation opportunities
  • Troubleshoot and support automation workflows in production environments
  • Document automation solutions and operational processes

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Network Engineering, or Automation roles
  • Hands-on experience with Itential Automation Platform
  • Strong experience with Ansible for automation
  • Solid understanding of enterprise networking concepts (routing, switching, WAN, security)
  • Experience working with APIs, JSON, and YAML
  • Experience with Git-based version control systems
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows

Preferred Qualifications

  • Python scripting experience
  • Experience automating network vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Arista, or F5
  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
  • Experience with ITSM tools and change automation

  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on automation and efficiency
  • Ability to support production systems with a reliability-first approach

Enterprise Product & Platform Engineering transforms the way we deliver infrastructure to our business clients. A key construct of EP&PE will be the evolution of the IT Product Manager, who will partner with the Engineering organization, the Business Aligned Service Delivery organization, the DevSecOps organization as well as our operational support teams to ensure that this organization provides high quality, commercially attractive and timely solutions to support our business strategy.
