Give Grants is the institutional giving focused team at Give, enabling corporations and foundations to deliver maximum social impact. Amplified by technology and anchored in impact, we support the entire grant-making life cycle for more than 50 Indian and global clients. Our offerings include -

• consulting services for partner identification, monitoring, evaluation, impact reporting, compliance and impact assessment
• ability to be an end to end extended CSR team for our clients
• Program Management Units for large strategic impact-first initiatives
• a comprehensive SaaS platform for grant management, monitoring & evaluation and compliance

About the role

Give Grants offerings are targeted at large India focused grantmakers i.e. CSR, corporate foundations and philanthropic foundations. Give Grants was set up in 2022. Over the last three years, it has established itself as a leading contributor within the development sector, especially within the CSR ecosystem. We advise clients with annual grant budgets from INR 5 cr to INR 800 cr. Our annual research study, dus spoke India Inc, is widely read and quoted. The team comprises professionals from the development sector, the business world, as well as consulting.

We are now looking for leaders who can drive the next stage of growth. This stage will require us to build deeper domain expertise, conceptualize and manage programs that deliver sustained impact, and think long term about how private giving can meaningfully contribute to nation building.

As a Partner / Principal, you will be an integral part of the leadership team at Give Grants. In this highly entrepreneurial role, you will contribute to everything that matters - designing our future offerings, initiating new relationships, delivering high quality engagements, and building a stellar team to enable Give Grants to meet the development sector's needs. You will also be a visible public face of Give Grants, and will own thought leadership initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Business development - Initiate new relationships with potential clients, drive growth within these relationships
• Solution design - Engage with grantmakers to identify pain points, develop effective solutions, and take them to market
• Engagement delivery - Take ownership for high quality delivery of engagements, be it strategy formulation, program management, or operational support.
• People management - Hire, train and build strong teams
• Thought leadership - Position Give Grants as a thought leader through research, convenings and more. Be a visible face of the organization.

Profile:

• 15+ yrs of work experience, with a strong academic and professional track record
• Past success in owning revenue growth, margins and people leadership responsibilities.
• Ability to initiate relationships with leaders and senior executives at large corporations and institutions, engage in a consultative manner, and drive growth
• Stints at tier 1 consulting firms, large corporations, or leading development sector organizations would be a strong positive. CSR leadership roles are also highly relevant.
• Domain expertise in either education, health, livelihoods, or climate action would be a strong positive.
• Comfort with a hands-on, fast-paced, high stretch environment is a necessary requirement. The role will require extensive travel, often at short notice.
