Principal I, Product Development, Security & Operations (DevSecOps)

Alcon is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that meet the needs of our business. This position requires a deep understanding of Salesforce technologies and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
• Integrate Salesforce with other internal and external applications.
• Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure data integrity and security within the Salesforce environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications.
• Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure comprehensive solutions.
• Uphold code quality standards and Salesforce best practices.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Salesforce development.
• Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce integration.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred:

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II).
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ and Billing.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies.

Work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST
