- Plan and balance workload, priorities, and resources; mentor the team and validate technical findings.
- Establish and coach 8D/FTA/Fishbone discipline; ensure robust containment, root cause verification, and preventive actions.
- Ensure effective use of diagnostics (UDS/DoCAN) and adherence to ASPICE supporting processes in investigation workflows.
- Drive lab readiness (ESD, safety, calibration) and standardization of test methods and reporting.
- Interface with CQE, hardware/software/manufacturing teams and customers; communicate status, risks, and corrective actions.
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or related; 8+ years in automotive electronics or quality engineering.
2+ years leading teams; strong competence in CAN/LIN diagnostics (UDS/OBD), test methods, and evidence-based reporting.
Proficiency in structured problem-solving (8D, Fishbone, FTA) and familiarity with Automotive SPICE processes.
Working knowledge of functional safety concepts (ISO 26262 awareness) and ESD/IPC workmanship controls.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and planning skills.
