As a Principal Engineer, you will design and engineer customer-centric, high-performance, secure, and robust software solutions. You will contribute to the architecture, design, and engineering Centre of Excellence, drive innovation, and improve the bank's overall software engineering capability. Key Responsibilities:
- Create innovative software solutions and technology designs focused on customer outcomes.
- Collaborate with domain and enterprise architects to validate and leverage architectural designs across contexts.
- Design, develop, test, and implement complex software, scripts, and tools to support bank platforms, applications, and services.
- Provide governance and oversight of engineering solutions with a focus on automation, resilience, security, scalability, performance, and reusability.
- Define and develop architecture models and roadmaps for applications and software components, ensuring usability across products and domains.
- Apply Agile and DevOps practices, including automation of build, test, and deployment activities, and maintain coding best practices.
- Guide and mentor engineering teams, review code quality, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
