Job Description:
Microchip Technology Inc. is a leading provider of embedded control applications. Our product portfolio comprises general purpose and specialized 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers, 32-bit microprocessors, field-programmable gate array (FPGA) products, a broad spectrum of high-performance linear, mixed-signal, power management, thermal management, radio frequency (RF), timing, safety, security, wired connectivity and wireless connectivity devices, as well as serial Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EEPROM), Serial Flash memories, Parallel Flash memories, and serial Static Random Access Memory (SRAM). We also license Flash-IP solutions that are incorporated in a broad range of products.
Microchip Technology Inc. has a Principal Engineer - Product Marketing role opening. The successful candidate will own the strategic and tactical marketing responsibilities for a portfolio of FPGA products. This role is critical in defining product roadmaps, driving go-to-market strategies, and ensuring revenue and margin growth. The candidate will work closely with engineering, sales, applications, and corporate marketing teams to position Microchip's FPGA solutions competitively in the marketplace.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (MBA preferred)
10+ years of relevant experience
5+ years in semiconductor product marketing or product management (FPGA experience strongly preferred).
Proven track record in defining product strategies, executing NPIs, and driving business development.
Strong technical understanding of FPGA architectures and applications.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a global, cross-functional team environment.
