Your Team, Your Impact

Work across memory compilers, tiling, and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to provide technical leadership and architectural vision across an organization. This role involves defining strategy, optimizing performance, power, and area (PPA) for advanced semiconductor designs, and managing complex engineering teams and flows

What You Can Expect

  • Work at the intersection of circuit design, software engineering, and physical implementation, typically involving the following tasks:

  • Memory Compiler Development:Architecting and designing embedded memories (SRAM, Register Files, etc.) and the automated tools (compilers) that generate them for various process technologies (e.g., 5nm and below). This includes defining features, optimizing PPA, and ensuring quality control (QC).
  • Tiling Optimization:Applying and developing memory access optimization techniques, known as tiling, for high-performance computing, such as in GPU or AI accelerator design. This involves collaborating with compiler and architecture teams to ensure hardware/software co-design.
  • CAD Flow Development & Support:Developing, enhancing, and maintaining the electronic design automation (EDA) and CAD methodologies and infrastructure used for chip design. This includes creating automation scripts (Tcl, Perl, Python), managing EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor), and supporting design/layout engineers.

What We're Looking For

  • Technical Expertise:Deep expertise in softwares such as java, python etc.. Understand the memory architecture, Worked on Layout & netlist Tilers, Expertise on semiconductor physics, circuit design, physical design, and relevant software/compiler technologies (e.g., LLVM, MLIR).
  • Leadership:Proven ability to lead geographically distributed teams, mentor engineers, and drive technical direction and strategic roadmaps.
  • Collaboration:Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to work with hardware architects, software teams, physical design, and external foundries/vendors.
  • Problem-Solving:Aptitude to debug complex issues, innovate solutions, and ensure project goals are met in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
