We are currently seeking a highly skilled CMMS Engineer to join our team at Quest Global, a leading company in the Oil & gas industry. As a CMMS Engineer, one will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient materials management, Asset Register, Bill of Materials, SPID, Inventory Optimization, and material specification queries.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain CMMS for efficient materials management. This includes implementing best practices and optimizing processes to streamline operations.
  • Technical support for Asset Register, Bill of Material generation to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Work closely with internal and customer team to Optimize the Inventory levels for Critical and other Maintainable spares
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new business strategies
  • Develop new ideas to improve and enhance customer support
  • Resolve material specification queries and provide technical support. Work closely with customers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations of workflows.
  • Participate in customer meeting
  • New scope development, resource planning and forecast team size based on demand.
  • Technically support team and resolve queries.
  • Training and mentoring team. Develop Training Materials based on the requirements and implement them across the team.

Requirements

Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A strong educational background in engineering is essential to understand the technical aspects of the role. A strong educational foundation in data management and governance is essential for this role.
  • Proven experience as a CMMS Engineer or similar role. Previous experience in managing CMMS systems and maintenance & materials management is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of materials management, Bill of materials, Asset Register, Spare Parts inventory development. One should have a deep understanding of inventory control principles and be familiar with industry standards.
  • Proficient in conducting material specification queries and providing technical support. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary to troubleshoot issues and find effective solutions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders is crucial for success in this role.
  • Proven experience in data governance, master data management, SAP MM and PM modules.

Should have a solid track record of successfully implementing data governance initiatives and working with SAP MM and PM modules.

  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices. Familiarity with industry-standard data governance frameworks and the ability to apply best practices is crucial for this position.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong analytical skills will allow you to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data sets. Meticulous attention to detail is necessary to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Strong communication skills will enable one to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex data governance concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Should be able to work autonomously and take ownership, while also being a team player and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
