Principal Engineer - ELV

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ELV system design across Concept, Schematic, Detailed, and IFC stages, including system architecture and integration.
• Handle ELV systems such as ICT LAN/WAN, Security CCTV, ACS, CPMS, AV, Home Automation, and BMS integration.
• Develop system network strategies, communication protocols, and system interface designs.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP teams, engineers, and vendors to achieve final approvals.
• Quickly assess project requirements, prepare queries, and anticipate design needs in compliance with standards, codes, and best practices.
• Prepare service inputs related to ELV/ICT systems, including room space planning, electrical load, and HVAC heat dissipation.
• Extract details from client-provided BIM models for design integration.
• Prepare technical reports, project briefs, and simulation reports using software like EASE Address, EASE Focus, JVSG, IB Wave, EKAHAU, and similar.
• Prepare tender BOQs, estimates, IO summaries, indices, and value engineering options.
• Produce schematic and detailed drawings in AutoCAD and coordinate input sharing with other disciplines.
• Update line manager regularly on project progress and request support/clarifications as needed.
