Principal Engineer

As we continue to invest in innovation, platform modernization, and AI-driven capabilities, we are looking for an experienced Principal Engineer to help shape the next generation of our technology stack.This is a high-impact technical leadership role for an engineer who enjoys solving complex architectural challenges, influencing engineering direction across teams, and mentoring senior engineers.

What You'll Do

• Define and drive the technical vision for critical product and platform initiatives.
• Lead the architecture and design of highly scalable, reliable, and secure distributed systems.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business leaders to translate strategic goals into technical solutions.
• Influence engineering decisions across multiple teams and domains.
• Drive improvements in system performance, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Establish engineering best practices, design standards, and architectural governance.
• Mentor senior engineers and help cultivate technical leadership across the organization.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve developer productivity and platform capabilities.
• Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that require organization-wide collaboration.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of building and scaling enterprise-grade products.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, and data-intensive applications.
• Strong software design and architecture skills with the ability to balance technical excellence and business outcomes.
• Experience influencing technical strategy across multiple teams without direct authority.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale engineering initiatives from concept to production.
• Strong programming expertise in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Go, Kotlin, Python, or similar.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for mentoring engineers and elevating engineering practices across an organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building SaaS platforms serving global customers.
• Exposure to AI/ML-powered products, data platforms, or analytics systems.
• Experience driving platform modernization, cloud transformation, or large-scale architectural evolution.
• Background working in high-growth technology organizations.
