Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Principal Data Scientist to design, build, and deploy intelligent AI systems at scale. This role requires a strong mix of technical depth, leadership, and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate will work closely with global stakeholders, lead AI initiatives, and drive the development of cutting-edge machine learning and generative AI solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesAI & Machine Learning
- Design, develop, and deploy NLP, computer vision, and machine learning models for complex problem-solving.
- Build and optimize LLM-based solutions, including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, embeddings, and RAG frameworks.
- Develop scalable AI workflows to automate regulatory, compliance, and decision-making processes.
- Work on multimodal AI and generative AI use cases.
MLOps & Deployment (Mandatory)
- Design and implement end-to-end ML pipelines, including model training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
- Build robust MLOps frameworks using CI/CD, containerization, and orchestration tools.
- Ensure model reliability, performance, and security in production environments.
Engineering & Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and stakeholders.
- Integrate AI models into production systems and enterprise workflows.
- Work in a client-facing environment and drive discussions with US-based stakeholders.
Leadership & Strategy (Mandatory)
- Lead and mentor data science and AI teams.
- Drive AI strategy, architecture, and roadmap.
- Establish best practices and frameworks for scalable AI development.
- Contribute to organizational growth and innovation initiatives.
Research & Innovation
- Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and industry trends.
- Drive experimentation and innovation in generative AI and advanced analytics.
- Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into scalable AI solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in AI/ML, with strong exposure to real-world deployments.
- Strong experience in AI solution design and production-grade deployment (mandatory).
- Proven leadership and team management experience (mandatory).
- Experience in startup or GovTech environments (mandatory).
- Hands-on expertise in MLOps, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud platforms (mandatory).
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Deep understanding of NLP, transformers, embeddings, RAG, OCR, and computer vision.
- Experience working in client-facing and global collaboration environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with regulatory, compliance, or government data.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-impact environments.
