In this role, to support function in achieving specific business goal, address challenges/deliverables, thereby improving customer satisfaction/etc.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance backend based Java applications.
Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in frontend development.
Establish and manage the overall program structure, governance cadence, and defined escalation pathways.
Own SLAs and oversee incident, problem, and change management processes to ensure service reliability.
Lead risk identification and tracking, enforce compliance controls, and ensure audit readiness.
Manage budget tracking, financial forecasting, and drive margin optimization initiatives.
Conduct executive reviews, define performance metrics, and deliver impactful data-driven storytelling.
Drive hiring strategy, workforce capacity planning, and succession planning initiatives.
Implement and govern Agile (Scrum/SAFe), CI/CD pipelines, and structured release management processes.
Define and monitor KPIs, CSLA commitments, and develop actionable dashboards and insights.
Oversee vendor governance and manage global operating models for distributed teams.
Lead major incident management, stakeholder communication, and service restoration efforts.
Track business outcomes and ensure alignment of delivery with strategic objectives.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Hands-on engineering/development experience in enterprise-grade products and platforms.
Strong proficiency in:
Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices patterns
Kafka and asynchronous/event-driven architecture
React with TypeScript
Strong testing discipline using Jest and Cypress.
Good understanding of web fundamentals: HTML/CSS.
Good understanding of Linux (logs, processes, networking basics, shell).
Good problem-solving, communication, and ownership mindset.
Good understanding of Git and version control workflows.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Working knowledge of Windows Server support.
Exposure to polyglot environments involving Python and .NET services.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
Ability to take ownership end-to-end (design → development → testing → release support).
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with evolving requirements.
Strong collaboration skills and experience working with distributed teams.
