Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - QA Automation

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Principal Consultant to define, implement, and drive quality assurance strategies across complex, enterprise-scale applications, and work closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable and scalable software solutions.

Responsibilities
.Define and own the end-to-end test automation strategy.
.Decide automation scope, tools, and frameworks across products.
.Write automation test scripts.
.Lead and mentor QA automation engineers.
.Review automation code and enforce best practices.
.Participate in requirement reviews, design discussion, and architectural decisions from a quality perspective.
.Design and maintain robust automation frameworks from scratch.
.Implement UI Automation (Web & Mobile), API automation, integration & regression suites.
.Plan, create and maintain test environments for various use cases.
.Create and manage test plans, test strategies, test cases, and test scenarios.
.Ensure comprehensive coverage for functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
.Review specifications, create/edit test suites, and identify areas where test suites need improvement.
.Validate applications against specifications, using documented test procedures, and report defects using JIRA.
.Perform regression, integration, and release testing for applications.
.Collect and report metrics for test runs.
.Collaborate with other team members, software developers, and management to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
.Provide software engineers and developers with necessary analysis to establish matrixes and measurements for quality reporting to IT management.
.Engage in full life cycle of testing and Quality Assurance practices, in multiple types of project methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
.Testing for package, custom and mobile applications.
.Works on multiple high priority projects concurrently.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
.BE / B.Tech / MCA / BCA
.Relevant years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Hands on experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst and test strategy and test planning.
.Hands on experience in writing automation test scripts and test suites.
.Strong experience in automation testing with Selenium/Cypress/Playwright.
.Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
.Experience with API testing and database testing (SQL).
.Hands on experience in microservice based application testing.
.Handles complex issues and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff
.Comprehensive knowledge of the field%27s policies, procedures, and practices
.Dynamic QA experience with software delivery, 3rd party software implementations, and maintenance
.Experience in automation and manual testing
.Experience in functional, performance and mobile testing
.Superb communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to learn new processes and systems quickly.
.Working knowledge of Project Management and Testing tools (MS Project, JIRA, Postman, Selenium, Playwright, JMeter, SOAP UI tools desirable)
.Proficiency in MS Office Suite
.Understanding of QA process for software development, debugging and release
.Ability to objectively review and qualify objective data
.Good time-management skills
.Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
.Excellent communication and stockholder management.
.Ownership and accountability for release.
