Principal Consultant – Process Mining.

Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - Process Mining.

The ideal candidate should be involved in Process Mining (Celonis) implementation projects with process data of varying degrees of complexity and for customers across industries. You are responsible for making digital business processes transparent and harmonizing our customers%27 data flow by using Process Mining Technology and applying data extraction and transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical team of Data Engineers and Analysts through work allocation and resolving any blockers for the team

• Apply analytics and modelling to own and actively drive process improvement projects and initiatives within the related function.

• Maintain expert knowledge on the Process Mining platform by drafting documentation on technical procedures and processes.

• Serve as a liaison for the data engineer, analytics platform, and business user and support ongoing transition and reorganization activities.

• Collecting, cleaning, and transforming data from ERP systems (e.g., SAP ECC/S4HANA, Oracle).

• Building event logs following the process mining structure (case ID, activity, timestamp, and attributes).

• Work with senior team members to analyze process execution data and identify bottlenecks, rework loops, or compliance gaps.

• Familiarity with SAP or any ERP data structure (e.g., orders, invoices, goods receipts) is an advantage.

• Awareness of BPMN 2.0 process modeling or business process mapping.

• Experience in optimizing the performance of data pipelines.

• Analyze process data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

• Well versed with latest AI capabilities for Process Mining

• Deep technical expertise and implementation execution on best practices of process mining

• Communicating directly with business stakeholders, other vendor teams and larger ecosystem to identify the success factors for ensuring successful implementation of Process Mining tools (Celonis)

• Understanding the business requirements thoroughly to identify the technical requirements

• Taking Initiative (Resourcefulness) and asking clarifying questions to ensure the build is robust and designed on best practices

• Focusing on Performance (Ensures Accountability, Delivers consistent results)

• Set accountability with junior team members to own their Build

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum qualifications

• Must have a minimum experience as a Data Engineer/analytics, Experience in working SQL and relational databases, query authoring (SQL)

Preferred qualifications

• BE/BTech (or MS/MTech) degree or equivalent, Computer Science/ Mathematics/ Physics or related

• Good to have hands-on experience with both Celonis

• Strong communications skills to enable interaction with all levels and departments within the organization

• Proven analytic skills, including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization

• Strong skills in industry standard tools/platforms for data analytics and visualization such as R, SQL, Tableau, Qlik, Process Mining, or comparable tools

• Previous work experience in ERP (SAP ECC / S4 HANA / Oracle Cloud / Oracle EBS R12) with strong process understanding knowledge
