We are looking for a senior, hands-on .NET engineer to design and implement the next generation of our enterprise application strategy. This role focuses on building and optimizing robust solutions using .NET technologies and MS SQL Server to address complex technical challenges across our healthcare product suite.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the end-to-end development strategy and roadmap for enterprise applications built on .NET and MS SQL Server.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, resilient applications with robust backend services and optimized database solutions.

• Evaluate, select, and implement modern frameworks, libraries, and tools to enhance performance and maintainability.

• Lead by example with hands-on coding in C#, .NET Core/Framework, and SQL Server.

• Perform deep-dive performance analysis, identify bottlenecks in application and database layers, and collaborate with DevOps to deliver high-performance solutions.

• Integrate builds and deployments within CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI).

• Review developers code and SQL scripts to ensure readability, testability, maintainability, and efficiency.

• Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.

• Ensure all development practices comply with industry standards, security guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

• Incorporate database security, indexing, and optimization strategies into the application development lifecycle.

• Address complex technical challenges across our healthcare product suite, ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• Good experience in software development using .NET technologies and MS SQL Server.

• Proven experience designing and building applications from scratch using C#, .NET Core/Framework, and SQL Server.

• Strong programming skills in C#, with expertise in stored procedures, triggers, views, and performance tuning in SQL Server.

• Deep experience with RESTful API design, integration, and service-oriented architecture.

• Demonstrated knowledge of database optimization, query performance analysis, and indexing strategies.

• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipeline integration and DevOps principles.

• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

• Prior experience in enterprise-scale applications across finance, healthcare, or manufacturing domains.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience leading development initiatives across multiple product lines or portfolios.

• Familiarity with legacy modernization strategies (migrating older .NET/SQL applications to modern architectures).

• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
