Principal Consultant-Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Extracting data from heterogeneous sources, including databases, CRM systems, flat files, web services, etc.

• Clean, aggregate, map, and convert it to ensure it meets the business requirements and is in a suitable format for analysis.

• Load the transformed data into a target database, data warehouse, or data lake, making it accessible for querying and analysis.

• Work proactively and independently to address project requirements and articulate issues/challenges to reduce project delivery risks.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience building the ETL pipelines.

• Sound understanding on datawarehousedesigning concepts and implementation.

• Experience in building the ETL pipelines using Airflow, Python, lambda, and glue.

• Design, execute, and ETL workflows, ensuring data integrity and transformation accuracy.

• Perform and document data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.

• Work closely with data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to resolve defects and improve data quality.

• Experience solid experience in SQL writing.

• Experience in snowflake - Good to have.

• Experience in designing, enhancing, and maintaining ETL jobs using SSIS and SQL. Good to have

Excellent client facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing & demonstrations. The person should have a technical curiosity to implement new technologies and articulate the solutions to the client.
