As an integral part of the testing team, you will be responsible for the following

  • To understand the business requirements in any area of core banking domain retail/corporate (For example CASA, Deposits, Loans, Trade, Treasury, etc.,) and/or Insurance (Life, Health)
  • Review and understand the Functional specifications.
  • Prepare proposals, create presentations, and provide other sales support.
  • Prepare test cases for both functional and interface testing across Agile and waterfall projects ensuring one hundred percent test coverage.
  • Timely execution of test cases to ensure that the developed application satisfy the client requirements.
  • Raise quality issues to ensure minimum defect leakage and track it till closure.
  • Review User Manuals and Help files prepared for the software.
  • Understand internal policies and procedures and comply with it.

Responsibilities


Mandatory Skills:

  • 3 to 12 years of experience in any area of core banking domain retail/corporate (For example CASA, Deposits, Loans, Trade Finance, Treasury, etc.,) and/or Insurance (Life, Health).
  • Should have a strong penchant for quality and produce high-grade deliverables within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and the Testing life cycle.
  • Should be enterprising, a self-starter and willing to learn new concepts and product functionality with minimal handholding.
  • Experience in estimations, creating presentations and preparing proposals.
  • Should have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • The candidate should have the ability to build rapport with internal/cross-functional team members and clients.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Ability to work under pressure - quick thinking and remaining calm during stressful situations.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and on weekends.
